well, me and my dad finally got the yamaha running and driving pretty good, the same one that i bought from my last post. We got it looking half decent and we replaced the clutch and fixed the tire, and set everything to what it should be, and its a pretty good machine. I was going to use it for parts for my much better shaft drive 83 200ek, but since it runs and drives pretty good, and we got a donor lower end for either of them, ive decided to use this one for just tooling around on since its chain drive and pull start, and the lights dont work on it. It still has its flaws, like the idle being too high, but we cant adjust that anymore than it already is, because the guy i bought it from must have either put a funny carb on it, or something, cause it doesnt look right, its got an air leak, or so i think, and something in there makes it so you cant adjust the idle anymore, so it jumps into gear, but whatever, it runs and drives good now, so im content.
