Are there any grease fittings on any of these old machines? Specifically the Big Red and 250sx?

Nope, but the manual lists all the places that require regular lubing and what to use.

And on that note, given the exposure to water and mud these things get, I would suggest using a marine grease and not a typical moly grease.

We actually put some grease fittings in an sx swingarm
after changing bearings.
We put a wooden dowel into the tube to take up some room so it wouldn't hold
a full tube of grease and it would squeeze out through the bearings.

Kinda redneck overkill but not sure yet if we'll regret it either.

Yeah, I too, just read the manual about maintenance intervals
and what to look at.
I'm still fascinated about the cable lube squeeze tool, but
haven't looked for one yet.

I DO walk around all the trikes with penetrant periodically.
especially the front axle bolt to fork as I have one that froze up and broke.
Not bad to hit the swing arm locknuts and a few other things that escape me
at the moment.

Rear axle gear oil is only 3 oz (3.3) and lately I've been putting
neodymium magnets on all my drain plugs.
Not sure it helps but fuzzy drainplugs just make me feel better.

Not sure I could live without a few es and sx models.
