Tri-moto 125 carb need help

hey i have a 82 tri moto 125 i would like to know some things about it is there a spring that is suppose to be attached to the float for the float needle ? also how do i adjust the float i set it to 21mm right ? i can start it. its very hard to start and hard to keep going and when i shift into first it stalls it will bog out and stall. i need some help with it im not to good with two strokes im a four stroke kind of person. the tri moto does not have oil injection any more.

dont think there is a spring.

to measure the float level place the carb rear bell on a flat surface.....this takes pressure off the float. I typically adj so the float arm is parallel with the bowl surface.
