1982 Honda 185s value

Local guy is selling a 82 Honda 185s and is asking $600. Plastic is rough and seat is shot. Says it runs and
All lights work. Tires are good and back rack is solid. The price he wants seems high. Any suggestions?

I'm a cheap ba$tard - plastics are a pain and those had metal seat pans. I vote for 1/2 that price...

That's what I figured too. Offered $300 and going to check it out in person on Wednesday. Maybe come home with a new toy!

I second that... Those metal seat pans are always rotted beyond use, and bad plastics is an easy $300 for nice used ones with a good seat. It gets expensive fast replacing plastics and the seat on these, not many choices for replacing the metal pans.
