I've been collecting for a year now, and I have collected enough to classify myself as "In Love with Trikes"
I have a few(Hundred) questions.

First up, I have a 82' 200 that the previous owner painted blue, anyway to remove that?

Do they make the reflectors that went on the sides of the headlights? I can't find any.

My Dad's(Mine too, he won't admit it) 185s(This one started the love of trikes) Has a cracked front fender, like an inch long, and way to like "weld it"
together?

Our other 185 was bought brand new by the ranch he worked for many many many moons ago. When he left the next rider bent the front forks, can we put those in a press and bend em' back?

Last thing (for now) is some of the engines have a corrosion or hard water on it or something like that, Just pressure wash?

Thanks,
Daniel

Well dham 1st question: Paint removal. If its a rattle can job, chances are you can wipe it off with Acetone. If you want it off to bare steel you'll have to blast it.

2nd question: reflectors. Hell I dont know.

3rd question:Fender crack. Ive tried the redneck weld system before. Cut some old fender (same color) into a few strips and heat a chisel with a torch and touching the chisel to the crack and using the strip like a welding rod, blend the plastics together. Personally I dont like it. It will work. I
perfer the bailing wire stitch. This holds up much better. Dont forget to drill stop the end of the crack.

4th question: Bent forks, hell ya press em. It will take a wide press to do it on though. Creative pressing will make em usable again.

5th question: Hard water stains: Hell just use some Scotch Brite. Dont use CLR, its acid. Theres differnt grades of scotch brite just like with sandpaper.
Find the one that works best. Test on the underside of the motor. If you power wash too much the water gets where its not suppost to be
ie. stator, bearings ect.

Good luck, Im sure theres other ways to do all of this. These are just some ways Ive tried and used over the years.

Thanks, I found some reflectors, pretty cheap and look just like the oem's.
Next, could ya'll tell me what you think these would be worth? Lookin' to add more to the collection.
