Another newbie here and this is my first post. Please bare with me as I am still getting my profile and everything setup. I've been lookin around on here and reading different post for a couple weeks. TONS of very good info and a lot of great pics of bikes. Sitting in the garage now is a 1985 Honda atc 70, 1985 Honda 350x, 2008 400ex (I know I know one to many wheels lol) and a 1985 Honda atc 250r that's got an astro conversion kit on it that looks professionally done. Will post pics hopefully tomorrow. I've never seen one in person until I got this one, and not sure what it's worth if anything at all. Thinking about cutting off the front end to make it a trike again. Is this a good idea or bad?

Making it back to a trike is always a good idea

LOL right now I guess you can say it's dead. Just needs a new top end but it's going to be a winter project. I agree on making it a trike again
but was told the conversion kits were worth money.

I say leave it, it's unique and you can always buy another trike. :-)

OR, if you can sell it, make enough money to buy a running 250r in the same condition or better and then have some money left over. (Ideally) :naughty:

Welcome, had an Astro kit on my '85 350x, hated the way it rode, hard to turn and felt heavy on the front end, no more wheel-eze's, ended up being an extra camp bike until I removed the kit back a couple years ago, lucky thing I kept the original front end. Buy a donor and swap parts.
