bearings in 200 big red

how many ball bearings are in the 84 200 big red front fork tube? need to know before i order the parts mine has some missing

According to the service manual, 21 top and bottom, so 42 total.

If your going to redo it though, i would suggest you also replace the races as they are most likely worn as much or more then the balls themselves. But a better replacement is an All Balls roller bearing replacement kit.
