200x fork spring question

I took the springs out of the tubes and measured them the small one is 3 1/2" and the long one is 17 5/8" manual says the long one should be15.4in and short one should be5.4in manual says replace if springs are shorter. what if there longer like in my case? what is the deal with these springs??

The manual is giving you the "service limit" not there actual original length....Meaning your ok as long as they do not measure shorter than the service limit.
