ok I picked this one up a few months ago. haven't had time to do anything to it yet. it was to said to have run when parked. (2 years ago) ????? no telling. still contemplating on attempting to fix or part it out. whats a few things you guys would check to help you make that decision???

If the engine runs and no major mechanical stuff is needed, I'd say fix it up.

I'd say it depends on what you are willing to put into it - time and money can fix everything in a trike.... it all depends on what you are willing to part with...

Just a running engine does not mean the rest will be easy going / low cost / etc to get it to be an actual rider.

It doesn't look that bad ive seen worse I own a 84 225dx and love it, very strong trike and lots of usable torque and shaft driven all ytm 225s are, but however aftermarket parts are very few and far between, oem parts are just as hard to find. how ever if u think about parting it out let me know ive had 2 of these in my lifetime so far and have owned Hondas as well which are also good trikes, but ive always enjoyed the 225 and would like to have a bit bigger parts inventory for mine cuz I dnt plan on getting rid of mine

I found a bunch of NOS and used parts on eBay, so parts are not that hard to find.
