1983 honda atc 250r

On my 250r one side if the triple tree hits the tank and the other wont by almost a inch. What can I do to make it stop hitting the tank?

repair your bump stop... it may require the replacement of the lower triple tree or welding to the inside of the bump stop on the neck tube.
