Front wheel removal sux!

On a '84 200es...

So I went and got the other three wheeler today and it has pretty decent tires on it. I figured I'd be able to just pop them off real quick and put them on the other trike real quick but boy was I wrong. The front bushings are froze on there!

Any tips on how to remove the front wheels?

A wood block and a big hammer and or heat.

This is fairly common if the axle hasn't been removed and serviced in a long time. Heat and beat and some pb blaster and a lot of cussing. Last one I had to get apart got wire wheeled and heavily greased on re assembly that's for sure!

Got the fronts swapped out today. Both are pretty much shot but on is DEAD lol. I messed up the dampers on one of them. So I'll be looking for dampers in the future. Oh and PB Blaster is your friend!
