85 250R rear resi bracket

My resi bracket is toast!! I have purchased a SRS one , what's the best way to remove the old bracket?
It looks welded I think :cry: dermal with cutting wheel or try drill out welds?:wondering
If anyone has done this already what was the best way ? Thanks

id use a razor wheel on a right angle grinder being careful to cut only on the bracket and not to gouge the frame...or a simple grinding hard wheel.. either way,, just take your time and cut it slow and gradually try to pry it off as u cut... good luck, hope you get it outta your way...
