was told it was a 84 got there and vin was coded as a 82 and modeled as a 83. with a real low vin number. any idea about a lower vin? how special is it? needs a few things. it has a big carb that looks like its off a two stroke something. no clue what its from. they gettoed the air box tube to make it fit. any recomendations on a carb. brap said to use a 400ex but i can't find one reasonably priced. any recomendations or anyone have a carb that would work? also looking for a front master? the head light shroud?

no more special than a high numbered 200x. I have a spare OEM carb laying around here, but will likely need a rebuild kit. PM me if you are interested.

Only thing special about a early 83 model WAS......
It has more recalls than the 84 and 85
cdi was the biggest problem.

I remember the day the foot peg recalls came out,I had just found out the hard way about a hour before the Bend OR. Honda shop called Powroll about the new 200x they just bought me.I had just broke mine off the race bike on their MX track and was just pulling one off the new bike..LOL

it has real high compression and a dg exaust can't tell for sure if it has a cam. its plenty quick the way it is but i dont like the twist throttle and the botched air box tube worries me about sucking up some nasty stuff. what is the stock carb messurements?

Stock carb is 24MM. also have an airbox tube as well and an airbox.
