The price does look a bit steep, but you aren't likely to find a nicer one. Very sweet ride!

Think about it, you buy a 86, you buy the parts it needs, you restore it, how much money do you have into it now? Does it seem like he is asking that much now? Not really, especially when this is ORIGINAL condition. Plus you wouldnt be afraid to take it out since it isnt perfect. Close though.

Would i pay that much though? Hell no.

Plus it comes with a fire extinguisher. How cool is that.

Yes and no to the price. These bikes are rapidly going up in value that is, if the machine was in mint condition, with paperwork, and, if it had some Hondaline accessories included with the deal.

But like Ghost said, if you were to restore a piece to original, think about all the time and money it would take to make it nice, plus, a restored piece (in my humble opinion) would never be worth the price of an original, but again, that is my opinion.

Overall, that's a nice clean machine :)

This one has been on Craigslist for a few months and the owner has finally dropped the price a little. He started out at $2,200,I like Big Reds but not that much. $2,200 can get me a really nice 250r and $5,000 will get me a really nice quad!
