Everybody has to have a corny name for a project so that's what I picked for mine. A few months back I bought a 1985 350X that was in serious need of repair. The motor was not running, usual frame crack, and overall neglect. Here is what I was working with. 176466176467176466176467

Rear Fenders, seat, tires and about everything else was shot. I proceeded to tear it down and open up my wallet...

The first thing I did was fix the frame. I made a very stout gusset for the usual cracking spot and gusset end the other weak spots as i figured they would be next. Here are some pics...176468176469

After that it was e coating, then paint. I should have powder coated but electro coat gives a super base coat and after purchasing a nos engine the trike fund was depleted. The next step was assembly, and here are a couple pics I snapped. It is now 90% complete. I should be ready to fire it up tomorrow. Thanks for looking!176470176471

Thanks everyone. It's a sweet machine, the more the rings are seating the more this thing is waking up. I had someone tell me today that they didn't know they made three wheelers anymore because he thought it was new... In a sense it is but it always makes you feel good about your work when someone tells you that. Here is a pic of my SX I also restored this year. Thanks Again!176543

The front end of the sx has since been restored. Ill have to get better pics of both soon.

I added a gusset and a frame wrap. I also gusseted all of the smaller frame tubes and added some welds. Hopefully the frame will hold, I am 99% sure if it does break it will not be in the same spot...
