Hey Guys,
I have a 1985 Yamaha 200ER. Very Decent trike that I've put back together. There is a reverse shifting lever right by the recoil starter. This reverse lever will not budge. I have pulled it off and checked the linkage itself and it is good. Right where it connects into the crankcase is the part I can't budge. I also believe that it must be in 1st to shift it into reverse. Does anybody have experience with these machines?

Most machines I have used needed to be in neutral to go into reverse...

I had a 86 yfm 225 and it had to be in first to go in to reverse.

It has to be in first.
