Fender Cross-Reference: Are some years/models the same?

Me again, fenders again! In my exhaustive search for (Rear in particular) fenders for my standard 82 ATC 200, it occurs to me that there may be other years/models/displacements that use the same fenders and I'm missing these with a search that's too narrow. If there is a thread on this, please point me in the right direction! If not, can anyone supply any info on this subject?

Looking for identical replacements, not something that will 'fit'. Mine has the black trunk on the rear. Maybe this would be a good sticky if it gets fleshed out for most all176876 years, sizes & models? Thanks All, Chris

Of all the models I have seen, I never seen that exact fender setup. I think for exact OEM fenders you have to stick to the same part number more or less.

Just incase this thread does take off.

Confirmed a 86 350x fenders does NOT work on a 83 250r (rears).

I do know some of the 200cc models swap around, but I'm thinking it more for the 2 part fenders (ex: 200es and 200m), but don't have any confirmed details myself.

those are the pe 1983 200/185 fenders and yes all fenders before 1983 on the 200/ 185 will work also the 2 piece 200es, m, and e fenders will bolt right up. I also bieleve if you purchased 250es fenders and placed new holes in them you can make them work as well.

Thanks Gents! This thread (I think) has resulted in a chap offering me a set of nice fenders, hopefully just a couple pics & a price to be agreed and I'll have them. However, I still think a thread on this subject may prove useful to all the Noobs like m'self that pop in and have similar questions. So that and the fact I may not end up w/fenders, doo keep useful info coming! Thanks All, Chris

Just swapped out my '84 200es rear fenders with a set from a '85 200m. They look identical and interchanged with ease and no modifications. I have a right '84 200es available for anyone who needs it. Undamaged with no repairs.
