Sorry can't see orig post.

SO empty gas cans in the bed, been tere for weeks.

Everytime I go near the truck it smells a little like gas.
Figured it was the gas Cans breathing.Post off ice, bank etc and it metled a hole in the new pavement at the post officce but wasn't leaking.

(this keyboard is gonna get flying lessones)

The SOB would leak if i let it sit for 12-15 minutes and melt asphalt 12" diameter.
Would not leak with running pressure.

If it was bad 'o' rings, it may not leak with pressure but leak wwhen the pressure drops off?

I need a new hobby and sorry again for this new keyboard.
Maybe tomorrow it gets flying lessons.
@ buks for new one..

Hope everyone is still smiling withg this beautiful fall weather.

What year F-150? A lot of the older 80s- early 90's were prone to the tanks rusting out and leaking...

Seems to be o rings on the fuel line connectors. 1992 strqight 6, got it cause I could see the ground with the hood open.

torquey too.

Wondering why it leaks withOUT pressure.
...just the way my summer's going...

but yes, 10 drops of water in a tank WILL rot a cute little hole in a hodden 'corner' for sure.

Sounds like you have a slightly damaged o-ring that seals up when pressurized and leaks when the pressure is backed off. I had this happen on the A/C compressor of my F150.
