Here is a 1987 200x on ebay,I know mint means new but this one may be close , I asked if he would post close up pics of the engine axle/swingarm etc. Only 3 pictures but it does look low hour, does a member here own it by any chance? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda-1987-200x-ATC-/221282978026?pt=Powersport_Everything_Else&hash=item33857e48ea&vxp=mtr#v4-41

It doesnt look like anything is leaking on the towel, but that definitely makes me think about it having a leaky case. He has 0 feedback also.

Yea, something's up. No feedback and leak pad. Would have to see it in person to buy it for sure.

It's pretty legit I think but wouldn't take any chances ,he sent me some close up pictures of the rear axle and engine , it looks very low hour but I would have to see it in person, zero feedback scares me to.

86T3,

Any interest in taking a ride, I would pay you for gas to take a look at it, I am thinking of picking it up but want to make sure it is as clean as he says it is?

If anyone else is closer let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Maybe its just not house trained yet... LOL

I have seen a lot of them on eBay with a rag or something on the floor below them. Maybe just afraid of making a spot on the floor sometimes but that one does seem oddly out of place. Unless maybe he just changed the oil, etc.

Nice looking though. I see the auction ended without breaking his reserve, was at quite the hefty price also.

People use "mint" way too loosely. It looks good from afar but that's the problem. Too few pictures and no close ups. It could be legit but those are the tactics of a charlatan. I've never understood why some legit sellers take a couple pictures in their dark garages and expect to get maximum dollars. If you want higher bids, take a lot of pictures in a well-lit room.

I agree that is why I want someone to look at it. He sent me some pictures and they look decent but I still can't tell if it is mint, mint or in decent shape.
