I think I have talked too this guy before. If it is the same guy, he also has a nice 1981 250R for sale. Seemed like a good guy. He does know the value of these machines. So I wouldn't expect a screaming good deal.

They seem to be pretty rare down here in the states let alone up there in canada. If buck snort is right I would give him a call pretty quick and set something up. I have no experience with these machines but I'm sure your just as curious as I am.

I just got done working on 2 85 trail boss quads and those things are different, I did not like working on the back brakes there no external way to adjust the pads so if you don't get it right the first time you got to take them off and apart again That and the rear brakes only work when they are in gear.

I like the heck out of mine..... Yeah i have a starting issue right now.....but it is still a hell of a lot of fun!!! I use mine to work around my place pulling a small trailer.

These machines can vary in price drastically due to condition / missing / worn out parts. I have seen running machines for $75 and non running machines $500+. There are too many variables to give an honest value. You would have to post some good pictures ( all sides ) and also a detailed description of what all is good and bad on the machine.
