I dont see why everyone is obsessed with monster but $500 for that 200x sounds like a good deal.

That's been sitting on the Maine CL for quite some time.

I'd love to have a 500r but something about this one looks ugly, on the side profile anyway. Wonder why it hasn't sold??

I don't like the CR500's that use the cr500 frame / tank, etc. ( like this one )

Looks real nice with actual ATC parts....

Monster is a huge of-road racing sponsor. Like Fox, or Red Bull, or any of the others.

ya something about the rake on that one just doesnt look right. also monster sucks, cant believe the obsession everyone has with it! to have them sponsor you as a rider is one thing

Sure their fast. But if you like to keep your fillings in your teeth. Last time I rode one it was fun for about ten minutes, then I was done with all the vibration.

Around here , you can only ride so fast. Tighter trails, lined with trees, etc.

Maybe I would be interested in a 500 if I lived near dunes, no interest in going any faster than my R on these Canadian trails.

i think the vibration thing varies from bike to bike; my 500 is no worse than my 310 or the stock 250r had been. i think the cr5 motors are happy when they are fresh and the rotating assembly is close/same as the stock assembly (stock cast piston or similar weight forged). Just my theory though

It helps to build them for torque also. Low to midrange. The one I rode was a rever and when it got up high it vibed hard through the bars. Short shifting helped. This thing also developed a lot of cracks in the frame too. I wonder how smooth a suzuki quadzilla 500 would be in a trike? Their counter balanced and a big bore. But its still a suzuki....
