Yamaha 225 clutch slipping

The clutch is slipping on my Yamaha 225, anyone know how to adjust it ? thanks, HDE

As a rule adjustment won't cause slipping..

Either the wrong oil has been used..a good quality ATV oil with wet-clutch certification.

Or they are worn out..

Slipping from a standing stop will be the centrifugal clutch, slipping under load in higher gears is generally the manual clutch pack.

You could try changing the oil and doing the proper adjustment as per the manual..but you'll probably come back with the same issue.
