hey guys,.....getting ready to install BRAND NEW primary clutch & housing (from babbit$$) in my 225dx, my question is....what is the purpose of the large flat washer that goes between the one way bearing and the shoe assembly ?....it just seems to fit loosely and rattle around,... the new assembly from babbits came with a new washer that was slightly thinner. .....just curious as to the purpose of this washer.....seems like it would rattle and make noise in the case......also, should i coat the new shoes in oil before installing ?.....................i also replaced the clutch plates(soaked them in oil overnight), also, how much should i tighten down the springs in the clutch basket.........its my first time doing an atc clutch, and just want to make sure i get it right,.....i attached a pic to show washer............THANX guys
