I need a new muffler, and don't want to buy a used old one. Think this one would fit?

The front part of my pipe is fine, so I don't want to get a whole new system.

Not sure if it does fit, but even if it did... at $89.95 would make lot more sense to save few more bucks and get a full DG off denniskirk.com or eBay for $120-$130+/- Guess you can always find another stock muffler to bolt on and it'll work. In my experiance isn't worth trying to fit something else onto stock headpipe. You would have to get adapters etc. Seems to leak and even with small band clamps its a pain to put on. My suggestion would be to just get a DG and be done with it.

I may have to get a new one, because I just don't want to pay for a old one.

Get a DG from DennisKirks... I have the DG setup on my 200ES and my ATC90... Love em! A bit louder than stock but engine is breathing nice!

How noticeable is the increase in power? I mean the thing only makes like 14 hp so its not like I am going to pick up 10, but.... everything helps.

I would say on my 200ES it was a noticeable power increase when plowing snow last winter, but then my stock exhaust was rotted and partially restricted and i was having issues with it running too rich because it couldnt breath, etc.

I agree with kb0nly the dg is great!! I have one on my 200s it fits like a glove and sounds great. You can get it for around $114 and it's the full system
