About a month ago I won concert tickets off the radio. I seen Toto live in the next city over with my dad. It was a great show. They played all their greatest hits and sounded so good. Whats the last show you have been to?

GWAR!, probably the last notable band. Bunch of other new guys nobody will know.
Missed Black Sabbath, first time with Ozzy back. But i guess my back surgery was more important.

Maybe Boston or ACDC, both were fantastic!!

Back then it was "Great Woods" (Mansfield/Foxboro MASS) and dad was head of maintenance. All I had to do was hop over a fence and steal a golf cart, then nothing was questioned, just waved on; I saw like 15 concerts, YES was great to see as well . Dad said Steve Miller was a dick and Sammy Hagar, SP? was a great dude! The CARS were terrible performers.

Me and the wife saw Chevelle at the pageant in St. Louis a couple weeks ago. They are amazing for only a three piece band....if you like their cd's, you will love them live. Shamans Harvest opened for them. That's a pretty good band as well.

Saw the very popular black country star from the late 70's and 80's with friends.. Cannot remember his name for anything!! BKM will know... I even Googled it to not look like such an trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro. Charlie Pride lol. that's who it was. I have never paid for a concert, but did see David Copperfield live. Imagine this,,He's not magic in person :) Only on tv.... However, last week I was treated to the pleasure, No,, the PRIVILEDGE. To meet, spend time with, and sit next to Jimmy Wayne performing for our Foster parent group.. If you have respect for ,Writing, guitar,or vocals, and especially all of it mixed together. Get on board his train. This man has been through hell and back,at least 10 times. And comes up swinging and fighting for kids every time. He walked from his home in Nashville Tennesee to Arizona to raise awareness of homeless/aged out foster youth. And will walk across all 50 States when he's all done... The talent in his voice, songwriting, and guitar playing is unspeakable. One of those,,,wow,,did that really just happen moments. 100% acapello, and everyone in that room { 300} was speechless.

Little over 3 years ago, saw chevelle, switchfoot, skillet, and seether at a muti stage show in jacksonville. Aside from the 100+ degree heat, it was a good show.

Wow, that was my first and I'm so glad I did. Best concert I've ever seen. No joke! Their props are the sh**! Amazing. Megadeth sounded so awesome too. It was just a great show. Its funny, I never was a megadeth fan, but I've seen them twice, and now I really like them. Dave Mustaine is a great guitarist.

Now for that i am extremely jealous. My favorite band of all time. They played here in Pennsylvania in philly but i couldnt make it. Really sucked. I hope they come back around. I was not fortunate enough to be around in the 80's to see them when they probably toured like crazy.

They walked of stage because they sucked. They later said it was because of the mud balls hurled at them(because they sucked) It's been a bit since I have been to a show.I think the last was Metallica when they were touring for death magnetic. 09 I think

Amen, bro.
I worked backstage for 11 years and felt very lucky to 'catch' 10-15 seconds of real magic every 3rd or 4th show.
Performers from Bon Jovi, Dead to Celine Dion so lots o' top shelf acts.

Superspecial when it happens.
A memory we'll not soon, if ever, forget.

Maybe we all need a little more of that

Last concert was at Hershey Stadium with my daughter for her birthday. Heart opened up for Def Leppard. Good show but they're all getting old. My Metallica experience was back in the late 80's during the Monsters of rock tour at JFK stadium Van Halen headlined with the Scorpions, Dokken, Kingdom Come and of course Metallica.

They sound good but it's not the same old Styx. The drummer died, bassist has aids so he left, the keyboardist left to do his solo stuff so it's some other guy. He sounds awesome though. So it's pretty much just two guitarist from the original group. I'm only 20 so I never got to enjoy the original lineup live but I'm sure it'll be great.

The only thing is, you replace a guitarist or something and usually nobody would know the difference. You just learn the part. But everyone in Styx sang.

I hope the show is good still. As long as they play their hits, it should be cool. Yeah the first members would be great.

Look them up on YouTube live. There is some studio quality live performances from the last few years with all the new members. That's how I discovered all of this.

I seen Styx last year in Redding and they rocked pretty good. I love classic rock and my father in law was a huge Styx fan so I took him. They do have a new drummer and bassist (bass player is from Redding), but Dennis DeYoung was still on Keyboards an vocals. So it was 3 original memebrs but they rocked and sounded great. And yes they played all the old hits. Pretty great show to see at least once.

The Shindig Festival in Baltimore...Clutch, Gaslight Anthem, Dropkick, Bosstones, etc... Wicked except for getting jumped by a bunch of ghetto teenagers on the way out...didn't end well for them so maybe they'll think twice before trying that again...

Absolutely nothing wrong with that. I've seen them twice and they're amazing! Always reminds me of cruising to work in my El Camino back in the day listening to 104.3 the Colt:)
