I 'm new to this forum as this is the second trike I have ever owned, it ain't pretty but still trying to get here going for the kid's, I picked up a 85 klt 110 for 150.00 have about a 100 into already. had shifter problem's, electrical problem's, and bogging problem's posted about it on the other page. I used to own a 350 big red Honda 350 big wheels, fun trike rode to the ground while still in my teen's. ride sled's, gokart's, boat's well I sit in it, and make vroom vromm noises anyway. pretty much anything I can build with a motor. post a pic may be this weekend.

Sadly, I do this as well. Those damned outboards are a beast of their own breed. Mine has been dormant for over a year. Welcome aboard(boat pun)

masteryota, that's a hole other can of worm's picked up a 17 bayliner , 85 force motor, only paid 200. for it. got the motor running took all summer to learn about outboard's sadly the hull will need a full restore do not think i'm willing to take it on probably part out motor and best part's of the boat, but will continue to make vroom vroom noises till then.lol

I inherited mine in a trade with the father in law. '80 Lucraft 16' w/85 Evinrude 30. Pretty much resealed the power head top to bottom, and rewired boat front to back. Fished a total of about 10 hours in it in 3 years. Thought I would mess with the timing and get it tuned right, what a friggin PITA that has turned out to be.

They say the 2 happiest days in a boaters life are the day they buy it, and the day they sell it. I am a believer.

I'm with you on that spent all that time, and money, getting the motor to run, now in the spring it's going to get torn down and parted out, same for the good part's on boat. Think i'll go pick up a cheap 14' bass boat put a electric motor on it take the boy out on that. Less problem's and maintance.

...I used to own a 350 big red...

Interesting, I didn't know Honda made a 350 Big Red - always thought 250 was the biggest.
