New here figured I would introduce myself, tell my story

I live in North Carolina, got my first 3 wheeler at the age of 3yrs old still have it today atc70,
Rode dirt bikes most of my life tho.. bought a 200x back in 08 it was actually for my wife. It locked up the day after we bought it and then 1200$ later it ran again has not really been rode much over the past few years it wont idle so she does not care to ride it.

We loaded the200x,xr200 and the 2012 Forman up and went to busco beach for a day about 3 weeks ago, I rode the 200x ofcourse since im the one with the love for the atc.. and by the end of the day I slung the chain and busted the engine.. but I had a blast riding it.. so thats when I got to searching and found this site I had no idea there was so many others that love 3 wheelers,
I thought I was just weird..

so now I have decided im going to put my xr200 engine on the 200x along with my 50t rear sprocket and have some fun..

and yes I know the sprocket from the dirt bike will not just bolt on the 3 wheeler...

Welcome to 3ww! Oh theres quite a few people that love 3 wheels.. some are still just using the training wheels though =)

Do you have pics of your 200x? I to have a 200x so I love to see others x's!

you'll have to change the clutch cover on the xr motor. so that you have a forward kick. other then that should bolt right up and give you a extra gear. unless you have one of the wierd 4 valve years of the xr think it was 84-85 are different. btw welcome

i dnt just like wheelers im addicted . and the swap ya speek of . . save the x engin cuz the cooling fins are thiner on yr xr motor means itll run warmer and when the next go around comes around u can uses the xr parts to reserect the x . with sum cool mods like the extra gear the cam ect

The kicker on the x half ass works so mine will be going backwards..

That's awesome you still have the 70 that you had when you were 3. Talk about sentimental value!

I still rode the 70 up till I was 16... the only reason I stopped riding it was the front tire was shot it had a tube in it which was sticking oit of a hole in the tire so the tube finally popped going down the road...
I figure when I have kid and he is 3-4 yrs old ill rebuild it and he can ride it no reason to get rid of them.. I still have my z50 which I get out and ride every so often just to keep it running.. my xr80 is far from running condition and the xr200 I have I got it when i was 9yrs old been rebuilt 3 times but still original engine
