Back in '75 my parents bought me a Honda ATC 70. Rode it for a good 5 years back then. Out grew it so my sisters used it but not like I did. They lost interest and it sat under the house for years. I moved out, mum and dad sold the place with the intention to go back and retrieve the trike - never did. Years later my sister answered an ad and found out that the house was sold again to the fellow on the phone which turned out to be someone she knew. He said there's a trike under the house do you want it? Yes, we would like.
In 2001, after 16 years it was reunited with me - the original owner. Now my children ride it around in 2013, nearly 40 years later!

Found this site when searching for an answer about tuning the trike. Found the answer too.
Thanks,
Robert.

Very cool story, I'm glad to here you got it back, hopefully that little guy will out last your kids and there kids kids will get to ride it and enjoy it just like you did. I want one for my 4 month old daughter, I hope to find one by the time she is old Enough to ride. What age do you think is suitable for a youngster to start ridding?

Maybe around five or six, when they start to understand things a lot better. Always show them the brakes and how to stop it first.

Lol, so only about 5 or 6 years to go, I can't wait. I found a tri zinger and a 70 for sale today, both look in good condition, I'm so tempted to buy them. Kinda jumping the gun a bit though

Leverage against the wife. You understand, "the-two-against-one-thing".

My mate had one. It's another honda that goes forever. My advice to you is...never sell it.
