The cylinder head on my 1984 200X is gouged. Is it possible to get it smooth again or will I have to get a new head?

I can probably post one tomorrow. My phone doesn't have a camera and my girlfriend is sleeping, so I can't use her phone. The gouges aren't extremely deep, in my opinion. But I'm fairly new to this stuff. Was wondering if it was possible to machine them out? Is it something somebody with limited knowledge and resources could handle or would I have to send it somewhere? How much would it cost if it's possible to smooth the dome out at all?

I would get a different head, or you can try to have the bowl re-cut by a professional. Cheaper and less headaches IMO to just get another head.
