Another interesting bike I saw on kijiji, it's fully restored with OEM parts including a speedometer, maybe it belongs to someone on here, lol. They want $9,000 though, seems pretty hefty, even with Canada's prices.

Looks like new , like to see more up close and detailed pictures but if it's as described it may well be worth it.

9 Grand may sound high guys but you have to understand parts are HARD to find new these days and are not cheap by any means. let's add it up if you were to build one yourself with all new OEM HONDA parts,, OHTSU front $300-350 , OHTSU rears $350 -400 , front fender 300-400, rear fender 800- 1000, NOS engine 1000-1200, shrouds 80.00, headlight case 300 and that's just the key parts and I am being REASONABLE. You have to still buy all the nuts, bolts ,pins ,etc, axle, headlight switch, ,seat and that's if you can find a NICE one. Then you have to powder coat the frame . swing arm, grab bar, handle bars ,foot pegs and I can go on and on. If I were to attempt to build a 250R with all OEM parts I would have a hard time just to locate them. Oh you can buy a descent 250R for around 3 grand but you get what you pay for. When it's all said and done you would have at least 6 grand tied up in a new OEM build but most likely much more. This was not my bike , I am just defending the fact that if it was mine I would take no less than 8 grand if it was built correctly.

I agree, and you could spend 9 g on a brand new 4 wheeler but who here wants to do that? I want to save up and buy a nice 250r but I don't think I'll be able to save that much

Well I guess it all depends on what you want to use it for. If you want a show piece that you'll baby and never ride hard, then it's perfect. If you plan on racing it or being rough on it then get a cheaper used one and spend the money you'll save on performance upgrades. Either way it's a nice bike.
