Real short, I know this has likely been beaten to death, but I didn't find much other than the GOKI kit using the search bar. Assuming just the engine work is needed, all the electrical stuff is already there, battery, relays, regulator and so on. Would it be cost effective to convert a 200s case to electric start using 200es parts(assuming they can be found) or drop coin on the GOKI kit, even though only the engine stuff is needed?

Bear in mind, I am a seasoned mechanic, and already cracked open the center section once.

If you dont wanna drop the coin for a GOKI why not look into the 200m bottom end or whole engine. You might be able to get one cheap. As far as i know they will fit you just need to dent the frame a little for the electric start to fit. Maybe someone else will have some insight.

I think you pegged it^^^ wiring harness & frame smushing at the starter & the 200m will fit
