Also an 02-06 KX85 rear caliper will bolt right on to the R's caliper bracket with no mods.

pm83-250R, I've tried it and it works great, the parts are cheaper, and easier to find. Do an ebay search, there are usually a bunch listed. I got mine for $30 shipped.

drove 4 hours from my house last night and picked up 2 atc 250r's one 83 and the other one a 84 ..from a guy he sponsored an old employee who raced them in the 80s they have been sitting in a old motorcycle shop for over 20 years he said shop closed in 1996..i have never seen a 84 like this it appears to be all after market one of built.real tall seat, hand made pipe, real wide alloy foot pegs, real wide rear axle, hand made rear swing arm, front forks look to be double the size from stock, stainless braided brake lines, cylinder says J.T National engraved on side seems to have a forged alloy head..if i can figure out how to post pics maybe some one on here knows what it is i was going to take parts of to finish my 83 resto project but i may not if its something special..he seemed to think it was made by surf racing?..no idea

This is wrong. It will NOT bolt up directly.
