350x upgrades

Iv got a few 350x's and I'm looking to do some upgrade for more speed.. just curious to see what everyone recommends. Ov heard that a 400ex carb is a good start. Open for anything

How much money you want to spend and how much faster do you want it??

One of our Canadian members(Tapper) put a CR500 motor in his and it's a real beast..but that is a really expensive build really intended for someone with some major fabbing skills..

For your average rider the simple stuff like the 400EX carb is great..if you're looking for some insane hill climbing torque and all the mods that requires you'd be best to start with a 250R!! Lots more aftermarket power upgrade parts available. Mostly just assembly work!

Best bet for a simple power increase is a pipe, high flow air filter, bump up your main jet! Start with that and work up from there!!

I'm really not into the whole 2 stroke theme... I really like my thumpers.. I had thought about a trx450 swap. Bit just haft to find the vike for the right price. Fabricating is no prob I can do that. But thanks for the input guys
