Picked these 2 up today. Not really sure what my plans are yet. These are the only pics I have right now which are what the seller text me. They are both complete, the tank and seat just aren't pictured for some reason. The one has a fresh piston, it hasnt even been riding yet. I got the box and paperwork for the piston also.
I bought a 1987 trail boss for parts a while back for $200. I sold the gas tank off that one for $265. So I could do something similar with these. I'm just not sure yet.
One thing pretty interesting about the one is that it is the only two wheel drive Polaris I have ever seen with low range. It would be pretty nice to put that load range transmission in one of my scramblers.
Paid $300 for the pair, the gas tanks are worth more than that.

Your stocking up and I'm thinking of thinning the herd. LOL

I am trying to slim down also, but I guess I'm not very good at it! Too bad we aren't closer together!
I just couldn't pass these up for the price.
I did recently sell 3 bikes and a truck. And I have a bunch of parts for sale on eBay. I need to move some more though.
