Does anyone still make a performance exhaust for a 200s?

Bassani exhaust (used) http://www.ebay.com/itm/HONDA-185-185S-200-200S-ATC-BASSANI-EXHAUST-ATC185-ATC185S-ATC200-ATC200S-/291012728772?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43c1b5d7c4&vxp=mtr

New DG performance exhaust (I think the only current makers for new pipes for the 200s) http://www.ebay.com/itm/DG-Performance-RCM-Exhaust-System-Steel-04-2106-Honda-ATC200S-84-86-/180988033853?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3AATC200S&hash=item2a23ba3b3d&vxp=mtr

Cobra (used) http://www.ebay.com/itm/HONDA-ATC-200S-1985-COBRA-EXHAUST-SYSTEM-/350776706665?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item51abebc669&vxp=mtr

Lots of options on eBay.

Thats what i was planning on using on some of my bikes. Like i said i think its the only company currently making new exhausts for just about every ATC. So if you want something new and readily avaliable oldgit, get them. Only bad thing i heard about them is they are louder than stock. As for how it performs, kb0nly would probably know.

They are a bit louder than stock, but you certainly get a very healthy breathing trike. As far as performance goes... This is really hard to gauge, all i have is the seat of my pants o-meter for that. I can say they do have better get up and go with the DG exhaust. Even the little 90 i rebuilt this summer felt a lot more spry on takeoff. I was doing donuts in the snow with that little toy not too long ago. I think its running just a bit rich though i have to tweak its carb some more for these cold winter months, i gave it a quick adjustment to get it running that first cold day and the smell of the exhaust is telling me rich.

Anyway, i have put them on just about every version of the 200, the 185, the 90, 110, and 125M. They all seem to get some gain from the DG. Its louder yes, but i wouldnt say annoyingly so. Its a more open free flowing exhaust, so of course its going to be louder.

One tip, they come in two pieces, the headpipe and the muffler. They slide together for a pretty tight fit but don't clamp together or otherwise have a gasket at the meeting point. My 200ES was doing this annoying decel pop pop pop from the air it was ingesting at that point, well the best i could figure, because i wrapped the joint with some high temp exhaust repair gunk and it went away. This stuff is a gooey thick like putty that you kneed and roll into a snake and then work it around the leak. It stopped that problem cold. But i can still easily get it apart for removal if i ever need to.

Oh another thing, the DG exhausts don't come with the standoff nuts for the heat shield. I was frying my leg on my 200ES so i got some Moose brand universal heat shield mounts and used them to reinstall the stock heat shield, it doesnt fit the contours of the DG head pipe perfectly but it does the job and my leg sure enjoys it.
