1984 Yamaha 225 DX shaft drive

HELP I just obtained 2 1984 Yamaha 225 DX s one runs and the other is in pieces I don't know a thing about these trikes.like what size battery etc etc etc is there any free manuals I can download to help me in my quest, I traded a 2001 blaster for the 2 so I could have a decent hunting rig☺ not so loud also what major issues should I be looking for and is a ytm 225 DX the same thing just different name?

Yes the YTM225DX is the same unit..

The best way to learn these machines is hands on. They are simple and basic..

Im in the same boat, I just got my first Yamaha trike, a 225 DX not sure of the year but it too came with a basket case which is almost another trike...lol Just getting this one in shape is a challenge but its pretty straight forward and should be up and running in a few more days. Waiting on UPS for some parts to show up. Anyone have an extra straight fork
