Where the heck are all the carbs for these trikes? I go on eBay and there's every part for these my trike I can think of...but there seems to be no carbs out there.. is someone buying and hoarding them all for the coming Zombie apocalypse caused by Obama care?
It reminds me of searching for .380 and .22LR Ammo back in June!! Hard to get but when you finally find it, you cant afford it!!

I have a $50.00 China no name carb on my YTM 225 DX right now, it runs but it seems it could be better... I cant tell if the choke is on or off....lol put it this way, it only runs with the choke lever up, when I push it down, it dies right out, But It starts on the second pull and seems to run well after it warms up but I don't know if im running on full choke or un choked, if its un choked then yaaay, it starts up easily cold, if not then Booo, it only runs on a full choke... lol

The Trike came with the original Mikuni carb but the bowl was rotted away and had a good pin hole eaten through it so the previous owner replaced it with a $50.00 ebay carb. so now im looking for a NOS mikuni VM22 and they cant be found! All the new VM22's do not match the specs of the stock carb (got the specs from the Clymer manual)

Anyone know of any other Carbs that are quality (not Junk) I can try to find?

thanks

if you mean the jetting specs are different then those are easy to change.

you can buy round bore mikunis from any bike shop. they will order it from sudco in so cal or from the east coast distributor.

call sudco to see if they sell the same style as your orig which might have been an oval bore.

I have a bowl in good condition if you are interested, and the carb you are looking for is a 24w for a 225 not a vm22

ok I just looked at one of the ebay knock off carbs and from what I can tell up is choke on, which means you are jetted lean with that carb, and I was wrong it's a 29u that is the correct carb

I know this was aver a year ago but I'm needing a new ytm 225 carb and there are VM22 on Amazon right now for $66 I think that's a good buy because on eBay USED ones go for $300 I've seen
