Cam lobes pointing down and the crank key way and the dot on the top cam sprocket both pointing at 12 O clock and your set :beer

Hey thanks all. I'm pretty sure we got the timing set well but there's a new problem. Kick start won't kick if head cap is on. I think by cranking the cap down restricts the cam by the thrust washer but I can't find anywhere to buy a bushing or like a crush washer or gasket for the cap on the head. Already have the bushing for the smaller end of the cam. I know this is probably the problem but can't find my dam book to find the solution and the service manual links I click on dont work. Thanks again
