Need help with throttle

Just got 200es put together started up just fine but I have no throttle control and smokes really bad any info would be a big help:wondering

I would check to make sure your slide is in your carb the right way. Did you have the throttle cable out of the carb? The slide has two different notches in it one to guide it and one that controls the idle. The lower notch typically controls the idle but a quick glance down the slide tube will help determine which way it needs to go in. And make sure it stays lined up as you push it back in. The guide pin can wear and allow the slide to rotate. Also make sure your needle is not bent and is seating into the jet properly. Sorry if you know this already or have already checked this.
