I picked up a nice 73 ATC 70 this weekend. Does anyone know how many of these they built? I know the serial numbers start at zero mine is fairly early I think. Any idea on value of these in all original condition? I can't find much info about them online. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have a clue about how many are made, but the better question is how many are left! I have been looking for an early 70s for Some time ( 3 years) and haven't found one worth the time to restore. Very poor condition.
The parts that you will need in good condition to get top dollar is the tank. Dents, rust inside or out. Paint? Frame bent? Here is the big one, original motor running?
I an not saying I want to but yours but I would pay 800 + for all the above. That machine is only worth what some one will pay and not a dollar more.

Do you have any pictures to put up for us to look at.
If it is complete, all original and in good condition it would be worth more than the second generation in like condition. It all depends on how nice it is as far as the price goes.

That is dust on it the paint is nice. Tires are original and perfect no dry rot. Plastic has no cracks, tank is perfect inside and out as well as paint and decals.

Do you have a picture? The photobucket one says the link doesn't exist anymore.

Is the 73 model the one with flames on the tank? I was at a guys house this past weekend that had probably 20 70's.... The guy has about 5 acres of bikes and trikes.
He goes around buying out shops and peoples junk bikes. He had two or three early 70's with the two part rear fenders. One I know had the flame tank that was pretty complete. What would be a fair price for something like that? Complete but needing restoration.
He also had a complete "Blue" 70 that was real nice. Is that the "Christmas Special" I hear people talk about and if so what do those generally bring?
Sorry to hijack the tread and I appreciate any info. Don't know much about the 70's.
