Was just looking over my bike (probaly because its my first trike and just so nice look at) and i noticed that the airbox plug on the bottom of the airbox has light showing through it. So i took it off and found out it has a cut. Or is that the way they come stock? I plan to ride it this weekend and down here in south florida it gets a little wet and swampy. Well it gets alot of wet and swampy

That's a drain not a plug. It is intended to let water out of the air box in the event that it gets filled up, and the "pinched slit" is supposed to keep water from getting sucked in through the drain, it closes tight under vacuum, and drains water when there is no vacuum.

You are good to go.
