I am thinking about putting one of my spare 350x headlights on the 250r of mine. I am extremely good at wiring. I know i can just wire one headlight up and have one working headlight, but what would happen if I splice the lines and wire both up to the 250r wiring harness? Any thoughts on good or bad idea?

You should be fine

350X Lighting Coil 200W max
Headlight 36.5W/35W X2
Tail Light 5W
Total Load = 148W

250R Lighting Coil 159W max
Headlight 60/55w (115W total)
Tail Light 5W
Total Load 120W

Bottom Line, if you put a 350X light on a 250R, you have an excess of 11 watts with all lights on.

That ia what's on mine. I have tried to post a thread asking for help but it's up for a mod ti look at it or something. I have no power on the yellow wire. Not to hijack a thread but can someone help me out here? Bad stator? Can I test the little box that's under the tank?

Should be fine, that's how Honda did it...if you pull back the switch harness on the 350x you'll see they just ran the wires in parallel.
