I was carousing my local ebay sellers here in Nor Cal for Trike parts and came across this swinger http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Aftermarket-Aluminum-Swingarm-Axle-Atc250R-Atc-250R-81-82-250-R-Swinger-HRC-/191028481589?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c7a2f4e35. He seems to list every popular aftermarket company but just curious if any of the experts here can identify it? In my daily craigslist searches I have been finding alot of first gen aircoolers and they are starting to grow on me a little bit.

DG I think, pretty sure the calfab has a dimple pressed into the flat plate behind the pivot point, pretty much identical other than that.

I have the same one on my 1982 250r and it is gold and has old school DG stickers on it. But from what I have seen the DG's were made by Cal-Fab. I also have a White Brothers on my first generation 200x that was made by Cal-fab. So, apparently a lot of companies were selling Cal-Fabs with their name on them.

Does your DG swinger have the round dimple in it? Also is it anodised or painted gold?
Thanks
Nick

It is anodized, it is the original finish. I will have to go look at it for the dimples, I can't remember.

identical to my calfab. Except the 82 version of it.

Looks like an early cal-fab to me.

It was made by Cal-fab, but it is the variant that they provided to White Bros.

So what makes the White Bros variant different from the original Calfab other than decals, was it the pressed dimple on the Calfab?
And they anodised the DG one gold.

It's gone now. Still had time left, I was watching it, contemplating. ended early?

Someone probably offered him a good chuck of cash.

Hey Nik, here's a thread that should help you out a little, post #25 to the end http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthread.php/154677-1983-1984-81-82-250r-ATC-PICTURE-THREAD-amp-aftermarket-parts-post-pictures-airfoolers/page2

Also, does anyone know what that arm sold for or could have sold for, I was considering selling mine.
