I took apart the right side crankcase because it had a crack in it. Cleaning it back up and trying to install it. Beside the reverse and neutral switch is a spring on a arm. Not sure what position it should be in but if someone has a pic or link please help.

My clymer manual has dink all in it

Thanks for your help in advance

I've got it all apart in my garage scratching my head. Does the spring lock the arm facing up?

Here ya go. Its just a stopper for the shift drum to keep the shift drum from going in to rev until the left side is lifted up releasing the shift drum. Just use a small screwdriver to walk the end of the spring in to the case.

Anytime Brother. That's why we're here. Don't forget to leave the dipstick out when you put the cover back on.
