Found this forum while looking for info on the web.
Recently picked up a clean '85 model 110 for scooting around the burbs.
(Rode a ATC90 as a young child, and have nearly purchased a 110 several times over the years.)
Runs well, but looking to learn enough to keep it maintained.
Thanks.

The buggy was sold at the time of photo, and just waiting for the new owner to pick up.
(Sold it to reclaim garage space for my everyday driver.)

1964 Sandwinder with a tired 1776 cc.
It was a super clean, solid little buggy.
I've had a few fiberglass buggies over the years, and even after corvettes and camaros, they are about the most fun vehicle you could ever own/drive.
Just before sale:

Anyone ever put a "street look" on a 110?

these wheels:

and these tires:

Curious how it would look... :D

I haven't seen it done but honestly I wouldn't pursue it. Solid axle atv's handling on the road is sketchy at best, put a tire with more street "grip" on and I suspect it'll handle even worse.

I use those exact tires on my 200x, which I ride on the street all the time(currently being completely rebuilt), and it is not sketchy for me at all.

Louis, no offense cuz everyone has their opinion on this, but rarely is it the opinion of someone that uses a trike on the street every day, because there just aren't many of us out there. Just like anything else, you get used to it. I can make it from one side of phoenix to the other just as quickly as anyone else, corners are even fun after you get used to riding on the street.

Of course, the tires wear out really fast. I have a brand new set for the rebuild, so you all will be seeing how it LOOKS, since thats what you asked ;), very soon. Here's a hint: it looks badazz.

Looking forward to those pics!

Simply put, most of my 3 wheel time is on the street, so I have had a chance to adjust to the body english required.
It can't be any worse than the radio flyer converted to go kart that I had with a solid rear axle.
That thing simply refused to turn on pavement.

After talking with a member here a while back(retired machinist) my goal of making a free hub with independent braking is getting closer to a good idea. I'm thinking if I get it done we would see a lot more 3 wheelers on the street, at least around here where its legal.
