kontiki is a legit spot. theyre a cycle salvage operation in Pacific Beach, Ca. i doubt they'd get into shill bidding. they sell lots of NOS from local shops theyve bought out over the years. they have really trick NOS atc stuff from time to time. nice guys.

also, their fee to list that item is $.20. i doubt they jacked the price that high just to save $.20

My theory is everyone wanted the color to match thier bikes.....hence,blue,red,green....... No one wanted white maybe? Sissy color that did not relate to their bikes color scheme. Let alone how it would show the dirt and mud?? Less bought back then...less were made then..........less left in package in white today? That's my theory anyway....
