Any performance upgrades for a 85 250es

Any one know of any i know there not race trikes but just wondering if there is anything that can be done? No performance issues now just doing some wondering thx

This is what I want to do when my 250es engine goes or I mysteriously become wealthy....

Ah cool, new site.... So yea as far as i know the 250sx and 250es share the same basic engine. The trans are diffenrent though.
The es puts out more low end torque than the sx which is geared for faster speeds.
That is what i remember... If someone knows otherwise feel free to correct me.

So, with that said, you can do the same to the ES that you can with the SX.

one option is the following:

increase the compression

install a bigger cam from another model or web cams

install performance exhaust pipe.

install 2 mm bigger carb.

increase gear ratio/size by 3 teeth in rear.

have a professional blend the valve seat inserts to the head.
