i have 21x8x8 tires on my tri z now. im trying to find out if i can leave the tire on the front and put smaller tires on the back. but i dont know if it will cause any problem. :wondering:wondering:wondering

Smaller height I hope lol! Bike came with 22-11-8 on the back,assuming it's a 85. You can do down to a 18-9.50-8. But you would only wanna do this for flat track racing. For "atv" use, I would shoot back towards stock size. 21-8-8 is an insane size lol ! Your front is fine either way. Whatever your size, whatever side it pulls towards,let air out of the opposite rear tire till it tracks straight as an arrow.

Low pressure tire gauges are cheap and the best way to get even tire pressure. I think the Z would be faster but I've never owned a 250x.

There's no such animal as an atc 250x that i know of. You're most likely looking at a 250sx, 200x, or 250r. The 250r is the only one of the three that will run with the tri z. Faster? Depends on what year, gearing, engine mods, etc. box stock i think the 85-86 250r is a bit faster than the tri z, but can't say for sure as i've never owned one.
