I got a carburetor that looks it is OEM and came off a 185S. There is no slow jet in it, just a tube. I've seen some carburetors that have a replaceable jet here but this one does not have it. Was there a version with no jet?

Picture would help . It should have a small jet , some were a press in style .

Sorry I don't have access to get a picture but there is just a tube that is pressed into the body of the carburetor where you normally would have a riser with a screw in jet. I am thinking the base of the tube may be sized smaller. The inside diameter of the tube at the top is about 1/16".

That's just how some carbs are made. It meters the fuel with a restricted hole inside that tube just like a removable jet

That is the pilot jet . Grab it with a pair of pliers gently and twist and pull . It will come out pretty easy .
That is the pressed in style jet I was referring to .

All the atc185/200 carbs, and xr185-200 carbs I have been inside have had a removeable pilot jet. I have had a CB125 carb apart, same carb, same size, but non-removeable jet like you have (due to street bike emissions standards). Hope that helps- maybe you have a street carb on there?
