I have been trying to load the "other" forum for the last 10-12 hours today, there was a post over there a while back with some info i wanted to make a note of, not very often i see much of interest over there but i had bookmarked a discussion a while back about 200ES shocks and now i can't get to it... Bummer.

Dead or temporarily out of order??

I tried to get on today and got "page not found"
I think it is dead. I don't know why, too bad really

Ok, well at least i know its not just me!

Their main page loads up but all the images are missing with broken placeholders. So who knows maybe their server crapped out.

I think it's been clinically dead for a while, but they can't find a doctor who will officially pronounce the time of death.

The ones working on it must be the same guys who built the obamacare website...

When it only loads the homepage , wait and read the scrolling banner at the top . it says right now " working out bugs on the message board "

Canadian??

Yep believe it or not its a Canadian firm working on the Obamacare site. I have nothing against Canadians just saying thats who is doing that particular site, for millions of dollars also.

I think it now lives as a Facebook group page.

I have posted therejust last month. I was told by some mods that they are still workin on it. I get on thru a side door kinda. I googled a known thread title and clicked on the link. Once inside i hit the new posts button and saw others posting as well

Been on the new site for about a month now. Personally I don't like the layout....just me. I kind of wish they could resort back to the old layout, I don't like change. I've heard of other persons not being able to access also?

I just had success doing a test post to a brand new thread. It's the first time I've had success posting at .org in quite a few months. Hopefully it will quickly return to it's former glory.

is the site down for good or are they trying to revive. I remember good old tech bulletins and articles being on there and i miss it. Like someone else said we are talking and are interested in 30-40 year old vehicles, the site should be slow responses but loaded with good tech and builds and restorations! I hope someone brings it back. I liked both sites. This one better but the other was nice too.

The only thing I miss about that that site is a cool thread called "ask a racer". Radrandy, Fast Eddie, Outlaw 24, etc, all posted old racer info and the thread was amazing. Other than that, the site now lives as a Facebook group.

I really liked the ATC 70 section. I've always thought those little survivors needed their own space.
